What to Expect at
Russian River Chiropractic

Starting care should feel clear, supportive, and intentional. At Russian River Chiropractic, we take the time to understand how your body is functioning, what stressors you’re navigating, and how we can help you build strength, adaptability, and confidence moving forward.

Your first visit includes a Comprehensive Function Exam (CFE) designed to give us a clear picture of how your body is adapting to life’s demands.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at how your nervous system, movement patterns, and joints are working together as a whole.

Your First Visit:

Comprehensive Function Exam (CFE)

Your CFE includes:

  • A detailed health history and conversation about your goals

  • Movement testing, including gait and overhead squat analysis

  • Chiropractic-specific testing:

    • Global, regional, and segmental range of motion

    • Manual muscle testing

    • Orthopedic and neurological exams

    • In-depth palpation analysis

  • X-rays, when clinically appropriate

This process allows us to identify where stress is accumulating, where movement or communication may be compromised, and how we can best support your body’s ability to adapt and heal.

Your Care Plan Moving Forward

After your exam, we’ll walk through our findings together and outline a clear, personalized plan of care.

Care may include:

  • Specific chiropractic adjustments

  • Extremity adjusting (shoulders, arms, hips, knees, feet)

  • Foundation Training–based movement guidance

  • Nervous-system–focused strategies to support recovery and resilience

Our goal is not just short-term relief, but helping you build capacity so your body can handle stress more effectively over time.
